Financial controllers oversee the flow of money through an organization, making sure cash, investments, and payments are managed wisely and in line with company policy. Day to day, they review financial statements, cash flow, budgets, and forecasts; approve disbursements; and coordinate with bankers, insurers, auditors, and outside accountants to keep financial operations running smoothly.
