About this Job

Sales representatives in wholesale and manufacturing of technical and scientific products spend much of their time finding new business, visiting customer sites, and learning each client’s operations so they can recommend the right equipment, materials, or service contracts. They explain complex product features, answer detailed questions about pricing, availability, credit, warranties, and delivery, and often work closely with engineers or technical staff to make sure the product fits the customer’s specifications and regulations.
